Sources informed Early Times that according to transfer order issued by department of Higher Education on October 14, 2014, Principal MAM College Dr. Anita Sudan was transferred to GDC Samba and Dr. Ramesh Chander from Samba to MAM College. Ramesh Chander had reportedly joined the MAM college on Tuesday but Dr. Anita Sudan who had reportedly gone on leave on Thursday, reportedly secured stay from Court over her transfer. Sources said that Dr. Anita Sudan was transferred prematurely as her stay at MAM College was only for nearly nine months and according to the transfer policy of State Government, the stay of any lecturer at any particular college was for three years in Urban colleges while two years in rural areas. They further said that in the last eight years, Dr. Anita Sudan was transferred eight times, which was in total violation of transfer policy. "Moreover, during last one year, Dr. Anita Sudan was transferred thrice. On October 4, she was attached to Administrative department Srinagar and on January 15, she was posted at MAM College and on October 14, she was once again transferred to GDC Samba", sources said. A lecturer said that the dictum "Two of trade seldom agree", fits over MAM college Principal Chair, where one principal had joined three day back, and the other principal had secured stay today. "Though the language of stay is still unknown but on Friday, the scene at Principal Chamber of MAM College will be dramatic as who will sit on the chair", the lecturer said. When contacted, Principal Dr. Ramesh Chander said that he had not received any stay order and could take further course of action only after getting the order. Dr. Anita Sudan did not respond to phone calls despite repeated attempts. |
