USTA lambasts Education department for non-payment of salaries 10/19/2014 11:01:14 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 19:United School Teacher Association (USTA) lambasted Educational department for putting teaching community on starvation by not releasing their salaries for the past 12 months, here today. According to press release, the USTA condemned the authorities for not making adjustment of Masters & lecturers in one go whose DPC was made in February 2014. USTA criticized authorities for making large number of normless pick and choose transfers for years. "The process is still going on which have deprived large number of students from their teachers in rural areas, as the authorities have clustered hundreds of teachers without work in various institution at district headquarters resulting into huge loss of state exchequer by misusing their official positions", the teacher association alleged.
