Udhampur, Oct 20: As part of relief operations to stabilize and provide normalcy in the lives of affected families, an Army relief team comprising Army Garrison visited village Kasoori and Panjer villages of Pancheri area and distribution of relief material to affected families at landslide hit Sadal village and also offered medicare to them. According to army spokesperson, "These families have been shifted to a safe place and provided shelter at Kusuri and Panjer village after their houses were damaged in the landslide at village Sadal." "The Army relief team visited the remote inaccessible area of village Kusuri and Panjer was welcomed by the affected people who were in desperate need and deserved basic amenities, spokesperson said and added, "Kusuri and Panjer whose houses were damaged in the landslide at Sadal." He said, "As part of relief, a good amount of rations, eatables, 520, blankets, and 50, box potable drinking water and Medicines were distributed amongst the affected people. "A total 801 members of 170 families present at the location received the aid from the Army, he said adding, "The people have expressed their gratitude towards the Army men for their kind and goodwill gesture." |
