Detach Masters, Teachers or face action: DC Kishtwar to CEO

Kishtwar, Oct 20: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Mohammad Javed Khan threatened disciplinary action against Chief Education Officer Kishtwar Rajinder Singh. over the issue of his failure in detaching the teachers and masters working in various offices of the Education Department in Kishtwar District.
As per the details available with "Early Times", DC Kishtwar vide letter No DCK/2014/Estt./3879-92 dated 14-10-2014 issued warning to CEO Kishtwar and directed him to detach five Master grades and three teachers including Master Shanawaz Hussain attach in CEO office Kishtwar, Master Shabir Hussain attached in ZEO Office Inderwal, Teacher Tariq Parvaiz attach in ZEO Office Drabshala, Master Abdul Latief Butt attach in ZEO Office Kishtwar, Master Khurshid Ahmed attach in ZEO Office Nagsini, Teacher Khurshid Ahmed attach in ZEO Office Marwah, Teacher Ashwani Kumar attach in ZEO Office Padder and Master Ghulam Mohammad Khandey attach in ZEO Office Warwan with immediate effect an submit a compliance report to him.
"A number of public deputations with regard to redressel of grievances regarding absence/attachments of Masters/Teachers has lodged complaints against the CEO Kishtwar for attaching the Master/Teachers in CEO Office/ZEO Offices and the same has adversely effected the study of the school going children" read the letter issued by DC Kishtwar, added that the orders stands already issued for detachment of all such Masters/Teachers, however these orders/instructions have not been adhered in letter and spirit which tantamounts the non compliance of government orders issued by him.
DC Kishtwar while issuing stern warning to CEO Kishtwar in his letter stated that "Before the disciplinary action is initiated against CEO Kishtwar, he is directed not to attach the Masters/Teachers from their respective schools and to implement the government order regarding the ban on attachments and also detach the above mentioned Masters/Teachers immediately under an intimation to his office".
DC Kishtwar in his letter strictly directed the ECO Kishtwar to comply the order and treat it as the last warning, otherwise he (CEO Kishtwar) will be relieved from his present charge and other officer will be assigned the charge of CEO Kishtwar in the interest of smooth functioning of the schools.
The copy of the letter has also been sent to Divisional Commissioner Jammu as well as to Director School Education Jammu for intimation and necessary action on their part.
