ABSBS threatens to launch agitation

Jammu, Oct 20: Akhil Bhartiya Saraswat Brahman Sabha (ABSBS) warned to launch a decisive battle for the rehabilitation of POJK and West Pak Refugees. Addressing a meeting Pawan Sharma President ABSBS said that said that over 20 Lakh refugees are battling for their rights since last six decades and successive State and Central Governments have failed to address their demands. He said Government should take immediate steps for One Time Settlement of POJK refugees, grant of citizenship rights to West Pak refugees and also settlement of demands of Border Migrants. He said hundreds of refugees will sat on indefinite fast after Diwali. Sharma said refugees will no longer tolerate the discriminative and negative attitude of Govt, and this time they have resolved to take the battle to logical conclusion this time. He said that people living in POJK and West Pak among whom some were leading traders including Jewan Shah, a wholesale Gold merchant and Sports material supplier from POJK to Gujarat and worldwide, became beggars after their mass exodus.
