KPC seeks abolition of Article 370 | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 20: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) has appealed for abolishing of two flag system and abrogation of article 370. According to press release, KPC demands that the centre Government should abolish the two-flag system in Jammu and Kashmir and there should be only one flag in the state.". Kundan Kashmiri, KPC Chief said that it is an appropriate time that centre Govt. should abolish the two-flag system and to scrap the J&K constitution and Article 370 that has failed to the people of the state in every respect, so that the state of Jammu and Kashmir is brought at par with other states of the Union to enable the people of the state to constitutionally merge fully with the national main stream. That way people of J&K would also enjoy the fruits of Indian democracy and get other benefits. He said it would be a befitting tributes to all nationalist forces, army, security personnel as well as to those innocent Kashmiri Pandits who got killed in the valley during the turmoil. KPC Chief Kundan Kashmiri hoped that the government in helm of affairs at New Delhi would consider these demands of KPC and do the needful at the earliest to send a clear message to the hostile countries and hostile elements that Kashmir is a settled issue and not a disputed one. |
