Unlike Haryana and Maharashtra, credentials of J&K BJP leaders are always doubtful | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 20: Local leaders of BJP are upbeat over unprecedented victory of party in Haryana and Maharashtra assembly elections but these "inefficient" leaders are ignored of the fact that in both the state party has capable and clean image leaders. These clean image leaders were projected before the masses and that is the reason that party has created history in these two states. No doubt that there was Modi wave in these two states but BJP has clean image local leaders in Haryana and Maharashtra. In Maharashtra BJP has leaders like Nitin Gidkari, Vinod Tapday and more important of all clear image leader like Devendra Fadanvis. Similarly in Haryana BJP has leaders like Manohar Lal Khattar, Jagdeep Dhandkar and Capt Abhimanayu who have been known for their credibility and clean image. Manohar Lal Khattar, who worked in J&K also, is known for his credentials. Crushing defeat of BJP is assembly by-elections in UP is a clear indication that Modi wave work only on those states where BJP has leaders with credentials. Like UP, credentials of most of BJP leaders in J&K is questionable so it would be unwise to predict that party is going to achieve the target of Plus 44 seats under the present leadership which after repeatedly intervals faced allegation of corruptions and selling out Jammu's interests. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah's startling revelations on June 16, 2014 and cross voting episode have badly dented credible of the local BJP leadership. |
