SAMBA, Oct 25: 126 Battalion of Border Security Force (BSF) organized a cleanliness and awareness drive today at village Penthi, Samba. BSF joined hands with "Swachh Bharat" campaign to realize Mahatma Gandhi's dream of 'Clean India' on the call given by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Speaking on the occasion BSF officer of 126 Bn said that the mission of this drive is aimed at a joint venture and sustained effort to clean our homes, offices, streets, roads, localities, business establishments, schools, colleges, universities and all other public places with a pledge to keep them clean all the time which has also a great significance from religious point of view. He also stressed the need for inculcating the sense of cleanliness in all members of the society especially children who are the future of nation so that they are made aware about the importance of clean atmosphere and hygiene for better India and better tomorrow. |
