Police recover missing man's body | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Oct 25: Kotranka police have recovered the body of 40 years old person who went missing on October 21 as per missing report lodged by the family members at Kotranka police station. Police sources said that the deceased identified as Mohd Yaseen s/o Mohd Sharief and r/o Jaglanoo was blacksmith by profession and his body was spotted by pony walas who were collecting sand from Ans river near Kotranka. "The deceased has 14 cm long and 5 cm deep wound on his head which was caused due to sharp edged Darati used to cut dry and green grass for live stock. "Initial investigation reveal that the deceased was carrying the Darati hanging with neckline of the shirt and while climbing he might have slipped and fell on the Darati causing serious injury on back of the head and was washed away in the river" said Haji Bashir, SHO. Police have recovered mobile phone, Rs 375, wrist watch from the possession of the deceased and has also recovered Darati from the spot where the deceased was slipped. SHO denied an attempt of murder in this case but said that the police have started inquest proceedings under section 174 Cr PC. Meanwhile, a young girl from village Lowerkot under Chingus police station went missing from her house on October 23 and was still untraced. Wazir Hussain father of Saleema Akhtar in his report lodged with the police said that his daughter went out of the house on October 23 and did not return. |
