| Local villagers staged protest demonstration against CAPD | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri , Oct 25: Inhabitants of Khandli, Jamola, Thudi, Jawhar Nagar and its adjoining areas held a protest against CAPD department and alleging the department has failed to provide ration for the last two week.
According to press release, protesters raised slogans against district administration and CAPD officials and demanded to provide them ration without any further delay.
Bashir Ahmed and Manoj Kumar and many others alleged that the dealer at Jawahar Nagar has not provided the ration for the last more than 40 days claiming that department has not sent the ration.
" Other PDS dealers in the vicinity of Jawahar Nagar have been providing ration to the people then why our dealer claim that the department has not sent the ration at his shop. He is selling the ration in the black market and making the people fool" said Mushtaq. Yash Pal Singh , SHO rushed to Jawahar Nagar and assured the people to take up the matter with higher authorities and soon the ration will be made available to them. |
