Frustrated Pakistan adopts one more anti-India resolution
Towards destruction

JAMMU, Oct 25: The roundly snubbed and condemned Pakistan, which is passing through critical times because of serious sectarian and ethnic strife within the country and major revolts in the frontier areas adjoining Afghanistan, is heading towards a disaster. Its disintegration is imminent if it continues to behave in the manner in which it has been behaving, particularly since May 2013, when Mian Nawaz Sharif became Premier with the help of terrorists like Hafiz Saeed. The problem in Pakistan is that it doesn't have a single leader worth his/her name who could understand the international situation or feel the pulse of the international community as well as world bodies like the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and United Nations Security Council (UNSC). Even the present National Security and Foreign Affairs Advisor Sartaj Aziz, who appeared to some somewhat sophisticated, has been giving wrong advise to Mian Nawaz Sharif and the result is escalation of tension on the LoC and IB. As for the Pakistani Army and ISI, less said the better. They were anti-India in the past, anti-India today and anti-India they will remain as long as these perverted, subverted and radicalized institutions continue to exist in Pakistan. For, they survive and thrive on the anti-India rant.
That Islamabad has crossed the red line and created a situation which could force New Delhi to retaliate in the form it retaliated in 1971 and created Bangladesh out of Pakistan as a sovereign and independent country could be seen from the multi-pronged attack it has launched against India to further its territorial ambitions in India. It has been raking up the Kashmir issue at the world forum, but without evoking any positive response. Nor is there the possibility of Islamabad being carrying conviction with the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, who only this month rebuffed the Pakistani leadership by not entertaining its complaint against India. Pakistan is funding the mercenaries in POJK and London to organize the so-called "Million March" in London, hoping such an atrocious exercise could motivate United Kingdom to force New Delhi to resolve the so-called Kashmir issue in accordance with the wishes of Pakistan. It is not going to happen.
London the other day reassured New Delhi that it would not interfere, as J&K was a bilateral issue. Islamabad is instigating its agents in Kashmir like Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq hoping they would do something to arose sectarian passions in the Valley, if not in the entire state. This is not going to happen, as an overwhelming majority of population in the state is religiously committed to India and the separatist leadership in the Valley today stands totally discredited.
On October 23, Islamabad crossed another red line, when it passed anti-India resolution, which again urged the UN to intervene and also accused New Delhi of being belligerent. The resolution not just accused New Delhi of violating the ceasefire and killing 13 Pakistanis, but also threatened India ignoring the fact that New Delhi can decimate Pakistan in no time. It blamed New Delhi for human rights abuses in the Valley, as also for the prevailing tension on the border and the LoC, notwithstanding the fact that there is none in the civilized world who is prepared to trust the Pakistani leadership. Many countries, including the United States, which used to side with Islamabad till not so long ago have understood Islamabad and its game plans and have started maintaining distance from it.
The fact of the matter is that Pakistan today stands completely isolated.
It would be in its own interest if it refashions its whole foreign policy vis-à-vis India and stop singing the Kashmiri song, failing which the Indian nation would have no other option but to act and act firmly. The Indian patience is ending. The sooner Islamabad recognizes it the better. Otherwise, its destruction is inevitable.
