MIET garners top awards at IBM TGMC felicitation ceremony 10/29/2014 10:55:38 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 29: Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), garnered top awards in an awards ceremony organized by IBM, India at Bengaluru. According to press release, the felicitation ceremony was organized to felicitate winners and top performers at The Great Minds Challenge, India's largest technical project competition which is an annual competition. Over 2000 colleges and over 1.5 Lakh engineering students participated in TGMC 2013. Two project teams from MIET finished in the top 15 teams in India which is a significant achievement. Team "Encoders" consisting of ChandanBanathia, Niharika Sharma and AyushiMahajan developed a mobile application which ensures the security of the mobile device and alerts the user incase the phone is fiddled with or stolen. The second team "Chat Club" comprising Sourav Sharma, KanavMahajan and Apurva Mishra built a mobile app facilitating individual and group chatting in a secure manner.
