Billawar, Oct 30: Workers of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) have demanded party mandate for Narayan Dutt Tripathi from Billawar consitutency. According to press release, a deputation comprising of various BJP workers of Billawar constituency met with BJP General Secretary (org.) Ashok Koul and General Secretary Shamsher Singh Manhas at BJP office Jammu and apprised them of their demand pertaining to BJP candidate from Billawar constituency. They also submitted a memorandum to Party High Command. They appealed the High Command to declare candidate only on the basis of ground reality. They demanded Narayan Dutt Tripathi as BJP candidate from Billawar. While apprising the High Command, Surinder Khajuria said that it is very unfortunate that since independence BJP has won Billawar constituency seat only once and that too some thirty years ago. He further said that Narayan Dutt is most popular, deserving and genuine candidate from Billawar who have 100% chances of winning the election and ignoring him will be a great Injustice. Others who present on this occasion include Joginder Kumar, Deepak Singh ,Dinesh Khajuria , Subash Sharma , Pawan Kumar, Gurdeep Singh , Baldev Singh, etc. |
