Jammu, Oct 30: Police today arrested a narcotics peddler during a raid at General Bus Stand, Jammu and recovered 350 gms of contraband from his possession.
"The accused has been identified namely as Suresh Kumar of Kishtwar, police said.
"On specific information, police sources said, adding, "a police team from general Bus Stand Police Post led by SHO Bushan Manhas laid a trap and arrested soon after his arrival in Jammu from Kishtwar. " "During his personal frisking and search of his belongings police team recovered approximately 350 gm of Charas (cannabis) which was expected to be sold to addicts."
His sustained questioning was in progress while the concerned Police have registered a case in this connection. |
