 KATHUA, Oct 31: Former MLC Subash Chander Gupta today led the District Congress Committee in paying rich tributes to the former prime minister of India Late Indira Gandhi on her 30th death anniversary. To mark the occasion a function was organized at Kathua here this morning in which two minute silence was also observed. Gupta while speaking in the function lauded the role of Gandhi in making India a vibrant and powerful country in the world he said that Gandhi was a committed and powerful lady who never cared for anything while taking decisions in favour of country and its people. Gupta also said that we should work unitedly for the victory of the congress party candidates in the coming assembly election. The Prominent among those who are present in the function Manohar Singh Secretary PCC, Naresh Sharma, Rattan Chand Karlotra, Kailash Devi, S Pushpa Majotra, Kewal Sharma and others. |
