| School bus owned by ex-MP Lal Singh knocks student to death | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 31: The Delhi Public School's bus reportedly owned by by Ex MP Lal Singh today crushed the student to death here in Kathua, police sources said. A case in this regard stands registered while the accused driver has been arrested.
"The deceased has been identified as Chandan Khajuria s/o Ganesh Khajuria of Dalhote, police sources said.
As per police sources, the school bus bearing registration number JK08C/5503 (Winger) turned a killer bus when the driver of the bus was reversing it and unnoticingly crushed a student standing besides the bus. Locals rushed the injured student to nearby hospital where he was declared as brought dead.
Meanwhile Rajbagh police taking cognizance have registered a case in this regard and have identified the driver of the bus namely as Vikram Chand s/o Sagar Chand of Chann Rorian and arrested him before he could evade his arrest from the accident spot. |
