JAMMU, Oct 31: With the motto of sensitizing the students about the role of UNO in the world, Model Academy celebrated UNO day today by organizing an Inter-House Quiz Competition in the school premises. The quiz was designed for classes 8th to 12th.
Speaking on the occasion, Rupa Gupta, Management Representative, wished good luck to all the participants of Darwin, Einstein, Edison & Newton Houses and appraised them about the objectives, duties and the role of UNO in promoting world peace.
The Quiz incorporated rounds which constituted G.K., and Rapid fire rounds. Each round was very challenging and informative. Four students from each house participated in this quiz and eventually Darwin House emerged out as the Winner scoring 62 points and Edison House contended with the runner up position with 44 points. The quiz was conducted by Promila Chopra whereas time and scores were managed by Simmi Gupta, Bharti Bhalwal and Monika. |
