JAMMU, Oct 31: The people of Jammu region especially Jammu city are mostly businessman and since centuries, majority of the people in Jammu do different business like tea stall, kiryana stores, bakery shops, small food stalls, tailoring, shoe making, and many other things.
The business community of Jammu always remain in services of people this way or other.
There are road side vendors which are also very famous and common on streets of Jammu. Today, we have chosen a tailor shop which is one of the oldest in city of temples .BR tailors, situated in heart of city, Jewel Chowk has been established in the year 1950 in Jewel Chowk by Babu Ram Gupta and this shop today is successfully running by his son Sunil Gupta, who in interaction with Early Times, said that he preferred to continue his fathers tailoring business and today we stitch all kinds of dress materials including pants, shirts, coats, suits, especially ladies suits at affordable rates. He further said that police personnel also stich their uniform here and we get sometimes bulk order for stitching the uniform of police personnel. We also sell all kinds of dress materials and by the grace of god, we always believe in quality and customers satisfaction. There are number of tailor shops in Jammu but we have maintained our quality stitching and we never say no to our customers inspite of being busy. He further said that I myself have learnt tailoring from my father and masters. We also stitch school uniforms and I can say, that BR tailors will never let u down and always remain in service of our customers. The uniform or you can say dresses of Jewels hotel staff is being stiched by our tailors since inception. We are here to serve people and especially after durbar move, we get overwhelming response and remain busy in our job. Most of the clients are from Kathua, Udhampur, Kashmir besides Jammu and its adjoining areas .Tailoring is my family business and will continue to flourish this business, said Sunil Gupta. |
