Adopt a school for regular monitoring of staff and better results: DSE | | | Early Times Report rajouri, Nov 20: To improve the functioning of government schools and to achieve desirable results in the final examination especially for 10th and 12th classes, Director of School Education (DSE) has directed all the principals and headmasters to adopt schools under their jurisdictions for regular monitoring of staff attendance and welfare of the students including their presence. As per Director's order issued vide his office letter No DSEJ/PO/20196-210 dt 16/11/14 these principals and headmasters would be responsible for performance of the students, checking of Mid Day Meal, tests on every Monday, parents- teachers meetings etc. Director School Education also directed DIET's principals to monitor /check the attendances of staff in at least 5% of schools under their jurisdictions ad and also directed to appoint Head Of Departments (HODs) and lecturers from their DIET complexes for the checking of a staff's attendances in the remaining schools. Director asked Head Masters of high schools to ensure punctuality of the staff and the schools falling under his cluster i.e. middle and primary schools. Director School Education also directed all the CEOs to constitute special squads to check the punctuality of the staffs and submit monthly reports to the Director's office on 25th of every month. To keep accountability Director School Education has also appealed to the people of Jammu province to contact his office on Ph No 0191-2591664 on every Wednesday between 11 am and 12 if anyone has any complaint related to the functioning of the government schools and punctuality of the staff. |
