They backstabbed people by voting for NC
Modi forgets his 'corrupt' MLAs

Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 22: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a sweeping statement today accusing the two families (Muftis and Abdullahs) of "looting" Jammu and Kashmir and they being involved in corrupt practices. However, he forgot that BJP's seven MLAs from Jammu region were suspended for their alleged involvement in cash for vote scam during the Rajya Sabha polls in JK.
Modi made a passionate appeal to people to vote for BJP and get rid of two families, who according to him, are in "contract with each other to rule and loot" the state.
The Prime Minister before giving such a sweeping statement should have set his house in order first and asked the 11 MLAs of his party what has been their contribution during the past six years. They have kept on hogging headlines for the wrong reasons only. The BJP had increased its tally from one seat in 2002 to 11 in 2008 assembly polls as people of the Jammu region had reposed their faith on them.
BJP MLAs backstabbed the people of Jammu, by entering into a secret deal with NC to support its candidates for the Rajya Sabha polls. They forgot that Jammu people went against all the odds and cast their votes in BJP's favour with a hope that 11 BJP MLAs would become their voice and would give a befitting reply to the Kashmir centric leadership.
The Prime Minister instead of talking about two families should have spoken about all the JK politicians, including BJP men. There is no doubt about the fact that Modi's personality and his commitment towards the nation have made him the leader of the masses but he has to identify the black sheep in his party too. It should be his top priority.
Soon after a few BJP sitting MLAs were not given mandate by the party for their alleged in involvement in corrupt practices they without wasting anytime changed their loyalties and opted for the parties which gave them the election ticket.
Modi only targeting two families has made his critics point fingers at him and they are claiming that Modi's speech in Kishtwar was an election stunt and nothing more. Had the Prime Minister mentioned about the BJP rebels, who are contesting on other party tickets, the entire context of his speech would have changed.
Since the day Modi has taken the reins of the country many things have changed but politics is the same. As far as people know Modi, he is a straight forward man and one hopes he would not let the masses down and would surely ask his party MLAs what has been their contribution during the past six years.
