Basholi, Nov 23 : Basohli SDM Gurmukh Singh has ensured strict enforcement of election commission norms for the conduct of free and fair polls in Basohli assembly constituency. He said for voter awareness and vote preparation, the administration was working day and night along with deputed officials in election duties. As per EC directives, security was also on top priority. Police would be informed about the vulnerable and sensitive areas of the constituency so that proper security arrangements were made for the peaceful conduct of polls, he added.
The SDM said as against 67,000 voters in 2008, there were a total of 74000 plus voters in the constituency this time. |
