RAC condemns return of recommended refugees' package by Centre | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Nov 23, Refugees action Committee (RAC) staged protest and burnt the effigy of central Govt for overlooking long pending demands of refuges. While addressing the press on the behalf of RAC, spokesperson of the front S.Manhore Singh strongly condemned Govt of India's action for sending back proposed rehabilitation package recommended by the J&K Government for refugees of POJK 1947 Chamb, 1947, 1965, 1971. "Political parties have failed to mitigate our grievances and sufferings pending for 67 years and have ignored the POJK 1947" he said. Both the spokespersons Pawan Sharma, Kewal Kumar and Sunil Sharma said that Prabhari of BJP is misleading the refugees on this issue. They said in India there is equality before law then how only valley migrants are being rehabilitated and others are being ignored. They alleged that BJP led union government has made direct attempt to sabotage the issue, which means that Government of India does not want to address the problems of our people. "If we are not given the justice then we refugees those have right of voting will launch our candidates in J&K state on their own and will leave a major dent on the mainstream political parties" they said. |
