| Bhasin launches door -to- door canvassing | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 23 : Senior PDP leader and candidate Jammu-West assembly constituency, Sarv Daman Bhasin today launched extensive door to door canvassing in Ward number 32 of TallabTillo Jammu to appeal the voters for voting in his favour.
Bashin was accompanied by senior PDP leaders Ashok Jain and Vinod Sharma in the election campaign who also sought public mandate in Bhasin's favour.
Bhasin also addressed series of public meeting in Ward number 32 during campaigning. He said that the overwhelming support from three regions of the state including Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh is clear indication that people are fed up with the anti-people policies of Congress, National Conference and BJP as well and hence are looking towards a new and only option i.e. Peoples Democratic Party which has already served the state for three years from 2002-2005 under PDP Patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. "Only PDP has potential to provide credible alternative of National Conference as well as Congress party because this party in the government as well as in opposition has proved how to address aspirations of the people", he said and urged people to repose their faith in PDP for political empowerment and balanced economic growth. Senior leader Vinod Sharma said that it was Mufti as Chief Minister who largely addressed the problem of unemployed among the youth by giving jobs to over one lakh Anganwari workers as well as ReT teachers. Ashok Jain also appealed voters to support the people friendly polices of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed for the holistic development of the state. Meanwhile Bhasin along with senior leaders of the Jain Association also paid obeisance at Jain Temple to seeking blessings for a landslide victory of PDP from Jammu-West assembly constituency. Others who accompanied Bhasin included Ghat Jain, Prof. Anil Jain, Sanjeev Jain, Sudershan Jain, BansiLal Jain, Varinder Jain, Sonu Jain, Avinash Jain and others. |
