Biscoe, MHAC, Nagbani School win Coca Cola Cup | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR/Jammu, Nov 25: Tyndale Biscoe School won the inter-school under-14 boys football tournament for Coca Cola trophy, organised by Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA), at Gindun Playfield, Rajbagh, here today. In the final, played today, Tyndale School defeated Green Land School, Alluchibagh by three goals to nil. Amar Bazaz scored two goals while Shariq netted one. The title trophy was presented to Tyndale School by member State Sports Council, Prof BA Shah, who was chief guest. Meanwhile, as per a handout issued here today, the selected players shall proceed for Jammu to take part in final selection of the state team. Meanwhile in Jammu, Under 16 Football team of MHAC School Nagbani lifted the Coca-Cola cup by defeating K.C Public school by 1-0 goals. The tournament was organized by Jammu & Kashmir Football Association, affiliated to All India Football Association, from 12th Nov. to 21st Nov. 2014 at GGM Science College. This tournament was organized to select probable sports persons of J&K to represent the state in under 16 Sub-Junior Nationals i.e. Mir Iqbal Coca-Cola Cup. Nagbani Team defeated Jodhamal by2-0, KV-2 by 1-0, G.D. Goenka by 2-0 and K.C. Public in Final.
