Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 25: A law department student today entered into a verbal brawl with a professor after the latter stopped him from copying in the examination hall. The incident took place when the 4th semester examination was in progress. Sources said students were taking the law environment paper when the professor noticed that a few of them were indulging in copying. When he tried to stop one of them, he threatened him of dire consequences. Though the female professor, who was superimntendent, assured the professor to take action against the student, she too failed to take any action against him. Sources said though the professor also tried to change his seat, other students, who belonged to a students' organisation, did not let it happen. On the intervention of HoD law, the student took his paper. Students, who are appearing in the exam, said there was a total chaos in the examination hall, resulting in the loss of about 20 minutes of time but no extra time was given to them. "This is totally unjustified. Flying squads must be made active to check this illegal activity in the examnination halls," they demanded. Despite repeated attempts, controller examination, Keshav Sharma didn't pick up his phone. |
