Students visit police station RS Pura

Jammu, Nov 26 : To bridge the gap between police and public, Range Police Jammu today organized a visit of students of Police Public School Miran Sahib to Police Station RS Pura.
According to press release, the students were temporarily assigned different roles as SHO/Munshi/Duty Officer etc. and complainants were advised to share their complaints with the students who were assigned different roles.
DIG Jammu on the occasion said that this programme has been organized to ensure people friendly policing at Police Station level as per the directions of senior officers. All the officers and jawans present in the Police Station were made to watch the whole show and they were directed by DIG Jammu to bring behavioural changes in them as per the expectations of the general public in order to gain public confidence and serve the society in a desired manner as such steps are bound to bring good name to the police force. DIG Jammu was accompanied by Randhir Singh SP Hqrs. Jammu, Davinder Singh SDPO RS Pura and others.
