Jammu, Nov 27: Over a dozen prominent activists of ward number 18 on Thursday joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and pledged that party programme and policies will be taken to the people in all the corners of Jammu region. According to press release, PDP west candidate Sarv Daman Bhasin welcomed the new entrant into the party fold and asked them to start door-to-door canvassing to spread the message of party leadership amongst the masses at grass root levels. Bhasin urged them to work with dedication and ensure the victory of PDP candidates in Jammu in the Assembly elections. Local leadership in Jammu region has failed on all fronts to address the grievances of the Jammuites. Observing that neither BJP nor Congress is an alternative of the PDP in the state, Bhasin enthused the youth saying-"Youth are the only medium to bring about any change in the society whether it is social or political change and PDP is the only party that believes in the strength of youth". Among the activists who joined the party included Suresh Gupta, Pappi Kumar, Shambhu Nath, Rinku, Mohinder Singh, Shammi, Kannu, Naveed Zargar, Amar Nath, Krishan Lal, Sunil Sodhi, Vash Sharma, Kamlesh Chander, Balwant Raj, Tarun Gupta, Yaseer Choudhary, Sajad, Nikhil Gupta, Nakul and Shubham Khajuria. |
