Cong becomes rehabilitation centre for sex-maniacs, scamsters | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Nov 27: It seems the world biggest `democratic' party (Congress) has become a rehabilitation centre for sex-maniacs, scamsters, militant turned renegades turned politicians and molesters. The irony is that the party shields such persons. Peerzada Syed was found involved helping his foster son pass the matriculation examination two years ago. Omar Abdullah intended to remove him from the council o ministers but the party high command resisted forcing Omar to retain him. However, he was stripped of education portfolio. The party has a former counter-insurgent, Usman Nabi in its ranks. He is notoriously `famous' for killing innocent people during the days of counter-insurgency which was an era of lawlessness, loot, arson and rape. Another candidate happens to be the son of counter-insurgency, Muhammad Yusuf alias Kuka Parrey. Although he (Imtiaz Ahmad Parrey) has been repeatedly apologizing for the wrongs committed by his father, but the baggage is still there on his shoulders and it has not helped the party in any way. Another minister, Ghulam Muhammad Mir was the prime accused in 2005 infamous sex scam. He was named by the kingpin of the racket, Sabeena. However, he was acquitted by a Chandigarh court as no witness turned up. He is Congress candidate from Dooru constituency, The health minister, Shabir Khan was in news for molesting a lady doctor early this year. He went into hiding for some time and managed a bail in anticipation of arrest. Yet another senior leader and a candidate from Rafiabad constituency was phone trapped. He was caught urging a girl to visit his place for sex in lieu of government employment. The girl had agreed to visit him in first week of November, the conversation reveals. Besides various anti-graft bodies is investigating involvement of several Congress leaders ins cams. These include, Taj Mohi-ud-Din, Gulchain Singh, Mangat Ram Sharma, Abdul Majid Wani and others. |
