Clandestine group luring city's youngsters into rave, obscene pool parties

Jammu, Nov 30: A couple of weeks after death of young girl reportedly due to drug overdose left the city dumbstruck, a clandestine group of people has been luring young boys and girls into rave parties that bring them to the door steps of murky world of drugs.
While investigations in the death of the young girl are still on, sources divulge that the deceased was lured by the same group into depths from where she could not recover. This group has been using social media to rope in young boys and girls of Jammu's neo rich families who agree to join these parties for a specified amount. "While drinks and buffet is on the offer, these parties generally end up in obscenity and drunken brawls," said a school going boys who participated in one such party which was organized in a noted hotel of the city. "Another pool side party that was organized in a hotel in Gandhi Nagar area, turned totally obscene and its video clips went viral on social media," he added. Sources also disclose that these video clips are posted on social media by the organizers themselves deliberately to rope in more 'guests'.
The group that had disappeared from the city after the death of the young girl has resurfaced in the city and operates from an outlet of a reputed café at Bahu Plaza, where young girls and boys are invited using internet and then lured to join the party. "These people are doing lot of harm to the youth of this city and the police and civil society should stand up and take notice" said a parent whose son had once been to their rave party.
