| Demanding SC status, Watal community stages protest | | | Early Times Report
bhaderwah, Dec 17: All Jammu and Kashmir Watal Association members today staged a demonstration at Jantar Mantar demanding SC status, right to employment, food security, and education. According to press release, prominent social activists including state President of All Jammu and Kashmir Watal Associations Ashiq Ali Watal led the protesters.
He alleged that Watal community was weaker section among the Muslim community in Jammu and Kashmir but in spite still SC status was not being declared for the community due to which it has become impossible for the community to educate their children. |
