Jammu, Dec 17: Lecture on Helping Youth to face their challenges of today held Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET). According to press release, the lecture delivered by Er Vidhi S. Singh, Chairman, Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions at Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET). He enumerated various types of challenges, which are faced by the youth nowadays. They include conflict of ego, undue importance to looks and wearing, too many desires, lack of interest in career building, taking instructions many times is taken as insult, lack of good manners, morals and ethics, lack of respect for elders, Peer pressure is a great challenge to modern youth who wants to possess everything what his friend possesses and above all excessive use of social networking sites. Summarizing his talk, Er Singh had following key points for the youth to overcome their challenges. Youth should add spiritual essence to his routine, he should balance his life by paying due care to his health, studies, good behavior, possessing morals, ethics, etiquettes. In other words, he should manage his time well giving due care to all the segments which could transform him into good human being so that he is conscious of his duty towards his parents, society and country. |
