| District level National Science Exhibition commences | | |

UDHAMPUR, Dec 18: A 2-day District Level Jawahar Lal Nehru National Exhibition on Science, Mathematics & Environment commenced here today at Government Higher Secondary School, Boys Udhampur.
The exhibition, organized by District Institute of Educational & Training (DIET), Udhampur was inaugurated by District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Yasha Mudgal, who was the chief guest on the occasion.
As many as 97 science models of different categories were exhibited under Higher Secondary, High School and Elementary Level, drawn from various government and private educational institutions of the district. The DDC went round the exhibition and interacted with the students and asked them about the utility of their models. She appreciated the effort of students put in for preparing models to depict innovative concepts in science, mathematics and environment.
She asked the organizers to hold more such exhibitions in near future so that scientific temperament could be developed among the students for the betterment of the society. |
