'Hashiye Par' is the first literary creation of Shailender Singh, which was published in 2010. The story of the 161 page book revolves around the character living Below Poverty Line in India. His second book 'Sewadhani' was released in 2012. The theme of this 240 page volume is 'Child Labour', which tries to distinguish between work and exploitation along with other details. The author has keen interest in social justice and empowerment of citizens. Both the books, although on the exploited and poorest of the poor characters, do not meet a tragic end but explore progressive alternatives.
