Jammu,Dec 20 (JNF): High court judge Bansi Lal Bhat has stayed a communication of director finance to the principal of government medical college, Jammu, as regards reduction in the salaries of registrars. The court directive came in a petition filed by 35 doctors who are working as registrars/demonstrators.
In the petition, they have sought the quashment of communication addressed by director finance to the GMC principal for reducing their salaries. After hearing the counsel for the petitioners, Justice Bhat observed that the November 19, 2014 order passed in the instant CMA was modified to the extent that the operation of October 29, 2014 impugned communication No HME/Acctts/98/2014 of director finance shall remain stayed. The court also directed the GMC principal to pay salaries to the petitioners which they were getting before the communication of director finance. |
