Kishtwar, Dec 21: Rain and snowfall in upper reaches of mountainous Chenab valley brought respite to the people from dry cold weather.
As per the details available with Early times, many areas of Doda and Kishtwar District witnessed rainfall and snowfall in last week. The areas include Marwah, Warwan, Bhunzwah, Kither, Machail Padder,Dachhan, Bimalnag, Marmat, Chinta and upper reaches of Ramban.
Due to the snowfall, the temperature in plans of Chenab valley also came down making people shiver The MeT has predicted more snow and rains in the coming days.The snowfall and dipping mercury has added glory to the Sunday market. People are seen in large numbers making purchases for the winter. "Compare to last few days, the sale of winter clothes increased manifold since last few days. |
