srinagar, Dec 21: Semifinals position has been cleared in the ongoing under-19 knock-out football tournament at Polo Ground, here today. Teams reaching the last four stages are Burnhall School, Shaheen Academy, Tangpora Club and Kashmir City, Kanpora.
Earlier, in the quarterfinals, played today, Burnhall defeated Challenger Novelty Red 4-2 via tie-breaker after the match ended in a goalless draw in the stipulated time. In another quarterfinal, Shaheen Academy trounced Milat Academy by two goals to nil. Danish and Hayat were the scorers. Tengpora Football Club won their quarterfinals against AMC Zadibal beating latter by a solitary goal. The only goal came through Rizwan. In other quarterfinal, Kashmir City, Kanpora registered 1-0 win against Shahid. |
