According to sources, for seeking fool proof information the Governor NN Vohra has already directed the Divisional Commissioners of Kashmir and Jammu divisions to ensure that the requisite information sought by the NDMA regarding full details of Bank Accounts in respect of the remaining cases is immediately made available to them.
The details reveal that Union Home Ministry is also going to decide about releasing Rs. 2,926.11 crore to the J&K government for providing relief and rehabilitation to the flood affected families within next two days and in this regard already Governor had asked the Secretary Revenue to vigorously pursue the Government of India for an urgent decision regarding the package of Rs. 43,959.56 crore which had been forwarded to the Government of India by the Jammu and Kashmir Government earlier on October 11, 2014.
