rajouri, Jan 25: At least 10 persons were injured, 5 of them critically, when a rashly driven mini bus turned turtle on near Nerojal village on Rajouri-Thanamndi road on Sunday evening.
All the ten injured were evacuated to the district hospital by the police and people where all were responding to the treatment and are out of danger. Police said that Mini bus bearing registration No JK 11-805 and driven by Liyakat Ali left Rajouri city for Thanamandi at about 12.30 pm and on reaching at Neerojal the driver lost control on the rashly driven vehicle and it turned turtle.
People from nearby houses rushed to the spot and also informed the Thanamandi police about the accident. Police party led by SHO reached the spot and with help of people rescued the injured to district hospital.
The injured have been identified as Rubia Begam, Abdul Majid, Sahil, Mohd Afsar, Jabar, driver Liyakat, Nazir Hussian, Shokat, Hamid Ullha and Riaz Ahmed all resident of Thanamnadi. Police have registered a case under section 279 RPC and started investigation. |
