Srinagar, Jan 25 : The callous attitude of the Municipal Committee Qazigund has turned the General Bus Stand Qazigud virtually into garbage dumping yard.The Qazigund general bus stand which is one of the most visited trade centre in district Anantnag/Kulgam has turned into garbage dumping center. Choked drains, heaps of garbage and pungent smell greet visitors and locals alike, day in and day out.
Despite collecting lakhs of Rupees from Qazigund town as taxes, Municipal committee is not taking any steps to improve the sanitation of the town and in other area's which fall within Municipality jurisdiction. |
