Jammu, Jan 27: Jammu Pradesh United Front (JPUF) has decided to organize a peaceful dharna on Thursday in front of Governor's office in favour of various demands.
According to press release, Balwant Singh Mankotia, Convener of the Jammu Pradesh United Front (JPUF) convened a meeting of the core members of the front to discuss further course of action and reiterated their appeal to various like minded political parties, Social organizations/groups, intellectual forums, Youth & student organizations, various associations and federations to join and support the movement led by the front for the cause of Jammu Pradesh.

Mankotia and other core members of the front unanymously decided that JPUF would hold a peaceful 'Dharna' in front of Raj Bhavan on January 29 upholding the demand of according the State subject rights to the refugees of West Pakistan which shall be followed by a massive rally in the Jammu City seeking the appointment of the CM from the Jammu region as a future course of action in the coming days.
Balwant Singh asserted that it is a high time now that the people of Jammu province should get united and fight for their rights leaving behind their petty interests to secure the future of the forthcoming generations once and for all.
