Jammu, Jan 27: On 66th Republic day of India, Senior BJP activists and former corporate of ward no 11, Sanjay Maheya held flag hosting function at Kanak Mandi Chowk in the presence of former IGP Farooq Khan and other leaders.
On the occasion, threw light on the importance of this day in which coincided with the visit of President of America Barrak Obama who was chief guest of the government of India on the auspicious occasion.
District president of Valmeki Samaaj of Jammu and Kashmir People Democratic, Sham Singh held flag ceremony at Valmiki Chowk in the presence of KUk Ram, Kavam Singh, Krishan lal, Rakesh Mattoo, Manga and Sanu Mattoo.
BJP celebrated 66th Republic day at Trikuta Nagar by hosting flag ceremony. On the occasion state publicity secetary and Prabhari district Samba Aseem Gupta was the chief guest who hoisted the National Flag. Many prominent people and children participated in the ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, Aseem Gupta said the way Modi is taking the country to new heights we expect the same for our state but it can only be possible if people will participate in every part to make J&K a prosperous state and live in peace, prosperity & progress of state.

He also recalled the leaders like Smt. Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi who sacrificed their lives for the unity and integrity of the country.
Aadarsh Bhartiya Samaj held special programme at Bhour Camp on 66th Republic day with enthusiasm. On the occasion, a colourful cultural programme was organized including Group Song, Group Dance, Skit, Solo Song, Speech and Poem was presented by 'Saraswati Group'.

State unit of Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) celebrated the 66th Republic Day with a function organized at Co-Bagh Jammu. Shiv Kumar Sharma, the State President of Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) unfurled the National Flag. Republic Day was celebrated in Central Jail Kot-Bhalwal Jammu with great joy and enthusiasm. Celebrations were started by hoisting of National Flag by Dinesh Sharma, SG. Superintendent Jail.
On this occasion, a cultural programme was organized for the Jail Inmates. Besides this Inmates also displayed their talent in poetry, singing, dancing and ciultural activities. The various officers present on the occasion were Medical Officer, Assistant Commandant, CRPF & CRPF Personnel and other dignitaries. Besides this a huge gathering of subordinate staff & prominent citizens of the locality were also present on the occasion. Sweets were also distributed among the staff members and Jail Inmates. Dr. Harmesh Singh Slathia, PDP Leader also hoisted the flag on the occasion of 66th Republic Day at PDP Office Vijaypur. The PDP workers were assembled in the occasion. Dr. Harmesh Singh Slathia paid homage to the leaders those who have sacrificed their lives for eradication of India from the slavery of British Ruler. Arun Sharma Sr. Cong. Leader also hosted the flag on the occasion of 66th Republic Day at his residence at Gurha Morh, Vijaypur. The Congress workers were assembled on the occasion. The sweets were distributed among the workers and paid homage to warrior of nation.
Chander Parkash Ganga M.L.A. Vijaypur constituency has also hosted the flag on 66th Republic Day at Sarore Adda. The BJP Workers were present on the occasion. Mr. Ganga appealed the public to maintain brotherhood among them and appealed the public to join the Swash Bharat Abhiyan derive started by Prime Minister Narinder Modi and apprised the Nari Shakti. He said that we should join the Beti Bachao Abhiyan in order to prevent the female fetus in the bomb. He said that today man and woman has no difference. |
