Tiny Tots, staff of VVAPS celebrates 66th Republic day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 28: Tiny Tots and staff of Valley View Army Public School (VVAPS) conducted a short programme to celebrate Republic Day and bring about awareness of the glorious part of India and our achievement as a nation till date. Maj Gen Saranjeet Singh, YSM, GOC, 25 Infantory Division, hoisted the flag and honored the school by presiding over the function on this occasion. Tiny Tots of LKG, UKG and 1st class jointly presented a cultural-cum-dance programme on the topic "Itani si hassi, Itni si khushi" and "Bum-bum bole" while the students of 4th and 5th classes had presented a skit "Naye soch, Naye Disha" to create awareness to keep our environment and our country clean. "Punjabi Bhangra" and "Mere Desh ki Dharti", presented by the students, received huge applause from the audience, parents and Chief Guest. Maj Gen Saranjeet Singh, YSM,GOC, appreciated the talent of students and staff members for grooming the students in co-curricular activities besides academics. He impressed upon teachers and other staff members to work hard and contribute for developing the nation in the larger interest of the Country. |
