JKTF criticizes mid-session transfers of lecturers, masters

Jammu, Jan 28: Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) expressed resentment against the recent transfers of Lecturer, Masters in the mid of academic session without following any norms of transfer policy by the outgoing Secretary of Education Department. Addressing a meeting Ganesh Khajuria State General Secretary of the Forum, expressed great concern about the already derailed and further deterioration of functioning of education department under the administration of outgoing Secretary School Education.The speakers on the occasion appealed N.N.Vohra, Governor of J&K State and Chief Secretary of State to personally intervene into the matter and issue the directions to cancel the transfer orders of Teachers, Masters and lecturers etc done hurriedly by the outgoing Secretary in the mid of academic session without following any norms, otherwise the forum will be compelled to launch a agitation against recent issued transfer orders.
Prominent among those who present in the protest are Sh. Rajinder Gupta, Satish Dutta, Gopal Singh, Surat Singh Toofani, Raj Singh, Lalita Sharma, Darshan Sharma, Ravinder Singh, Yashpaul Sharma, Ganesh Sharma.
