Forgets he overhauled admin one week before LA polls were announced | Omar's memory short lived | | Early Times Report Srinagar, Jan 28: The former Chief Minister and working president of National Conference Omar Abdullah's memory seems to be very short lived, he took to twitter today saying Governor N N Vohra has sent confusing signals by ordering major reshuffle in administration and police. "Mixed and very confusing signals in J&K - @jkpdp and @BJP4India announce 2 RS candidates each confirming that they are fighting together," Omar wrote on micro-blogging site Twitter. "At the same time the Governor has ordered a massive list of transfers in the police and civil administration indicating he's staying," he said. "So what I don't get is if the @jkpdp & @BJP4India can combine for the Rajya Sabha polls when not just cement the marriage of convenience," he added. It seems Omar needs to be reminded that just one week before the assembly polls were announced he overhauled the state machinery. Even his coalition partner Congress asked the Election Commission of India to keep an eye over the transfer industry of Jammu and Kashmir and stop political transfers. An analyst while talking to Early Times said, "Omar seems to have realized that he is no more the king and is feeling bad that someone else his calling shots. It happens after one loses power." |
