'Save the girl child' campaign held Kadyala, Panser

hiranagar, Jan 29: To educate and aware the common mass regarding the "Beti Bachaao Beti Padhaao" Campaign, the Hiranagar Medical Block today conducted Health Awareness Camps in Sub Center Kadyala and Pansar.
Dr Guru Prasad Sharma, Tarsem Singh, Monika Sharma were represented the health department and made people aware about the subject and theme of the camp.
In his address Dr Guru Prasad Sharma gave brief account of the subject i.e. to save girl child. "Declining girl child ratio is a major concern in our society, he said and added that due to lack of knowledge or some misconceptions many vested interests are indulged in crime female foeticide.
"An educated girl enlightens the society and brings laurels to the two families, he said.
Sarpanch Pansar Bishan Dass Sangra, Thuru Ram,Anganwadi workers, Asha workers and a large number of locals were present in this awareness programme Sarpanch appreciated the efforts of the Doctors in their initiative to spread such a noble message.
