Early Times Report

Jammu, Jan 29 : National Secular Forum (NSF) continues protests against Vice-Chancellor of Jammu University for one post- one man.
Addressing the gathering here today, National Secular Forum (NSF) University President Qayoom Malik said that administrative machinery of Jammu University is not working properly as per expectations of student and Scholars, which is adversely affecting their studies. University President NSF said, "Scholars in Jammu University are facing hardships due to unavailability of teaching staff in some of the departments due to their superfluous engagement in other responsibilities. Showing concern over this issue the NSF for past couple of months is demanding Vice Chancellor to enforce 'One man one Post' and relieve the officials who were having more than one post but the University authorities failed to implement aforesaid policy". He said that NSF had been only raising voice for the welfare of Students and Scholars who are at the receiving end due to the non availability of staff in Jammu University. Ironically, the University administration instead of lauding the efforts of Students organization by implementing 'One Man One Post' policy, rectifying their mistake, has now issued a letter in which it has been alleged that the NSF was defaming the Jammu University by levelling allegations against them, he added. Among those who were present in the protest included, PPSingh, Vikram Madhyal, JVSingh, ZulfiSingh, Gopal Rajput, Anees Charak, Amit Sanotra, Pawan Kumar, Javed Iqbal, Varun, and others.
