jammu, Jan 30: District Congress Committee (DDC) Kathua led by its president and former Member Legislative council Subash Chander Gupta organised a function to remember father of the nation on his death anniversary. According to press release, speaking after paying tribute, Gupta described Mahatma Gandhi as real saint who earned name in the entire world by showing his tolerance against violence. He also said Gandhiji's contribution is matchless and everyone across the countries inspires from his teachings and acts. Gupta added the real tributes to this saint would be to follow his foot- steps and promote communal harmony, mutual brotherhood and uplifting of poor and needy. He said Gandhiji worked for equality and removing un-touchability. Prominent among those who pay tribute are Sh Bishan Singh Jasrotia, Sh Davinder Singh, Smt Parveena Devi, Smt Suman Bhagat, Smt. Meera Devi, Sh KC Bhagat, Retd.
