Jammu, Jan 31: KC Gurukul Public School Paloura observed silence with due solemnity in its school premises on account of 67th Death Anniversary of father of the nation, the Mahatma Gandhi. According to press release, the divine spirit of Mahatma Gandhi is alive in the form of his teachings of peace, harmony and equality and these things are inculcated in our school children. The children also learnt about Indian freedom movement, the role of martyrs and national integration. They learnt that the martyrdom of Bapu was never wasted but it has always encouraged the youth of all times to travel on the path of 'Ahimsa' and 'Satya'. On the occasion, Vijay Puri, Academic Director of KCGPSP quoted Mahatma Gandhi's vision "We must become the change we want to see in the world" and she also encouraged the school children to follow the righteous path. |
