PHQ bids warm send off to DIG, AIsG | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 31: In order to bid a warm farewell to Ali Mohammad, DIG (Administration), AIGs Shailendra Kumar Mishra and Aftab Ahmed Kakroo, Police Headquarters (PHQ) organized an impressive function here this evening. Mr. Bhat has been transferred as Deputy Inspector General of Police, South Kashmir Range Anantnag. Mr. Mishra and Mr. Kakroo has been transferred and posted as SP Kargil and SP CID Headquarter. The Director General of Police (DGP), K. Rajendra Kumar, speaking on the occasion, lauded the services of Ali Mohammad, saying that he rendered unblemished services as DIG (Administration). His contribution in bringing about visible and appreciable change in administration was also highlighted by the DGP. The DGP said that the dint and dedication of Ali Mohammad has helped the highest office of the Organization to take decisive measures and upgrade the excellence of the department. During his tenure at PHQ, he has rendered an exemplary service and has always been fair and loyal to the law, which has been recognized at different levels, he added. Kuldeep Kumar Bhat Senior Prosecuting Officer was also given send off on his transfer to Samba District. His services were also appreciated by the DGP and said that officer is a competent in his profession and has remained always available to provide justice to the aggrieved. Earlier, the ADG (Headquarters), S. P. Vaid lauded the services of officers in different capacities and said that they are dynamic professionals and have always come up to the expectations of the Department. They are sincere and dedicated officers in the service of the public and the Organization feels proud of having such officers. Among others, the farewell function was attended by IGPs, AK Choudhary, HK Lohia and SL Sharma, Director Prosecution, PK Gupta, AIGPs, Rajeshwar Singh, Tahir Sajad and Sheikh Zulfikar Azad, Dy Director Prosecution, Gowhar Ahmed, Sr.ADO, BA Shah, CAO, Omar Khan, besides other police officers. |
