Jammu, Jan 31: Gujjar Bakkarwal Students Welfare Association (GBSWA) resented overlooking of Gojri Language on the eve of Republic day. Addressing a press conference here at Jammu University President of GBSWA, Zulfqar Kassana, General Secretary Altaf Ahmed and spokesperson Muneer Choudary said that Academy of Art, Culture and Languages District Secretary of Rajouri has deliberately ignored Gojari Language because no any other Gojari cultural item was included on the eve of Republic day. "Our organization has already criticized this shameful act with the help of Social Media", he said, adding that even the Rajouri District body of GBSWA had expressed its resentment, but Unfortunately, still no any kind of action has taken in this regard. He said, "Wants an immediate and strict action against the Secretary AACL of Rajouri. Ignoring, Dogri, means violation of article 14-15 of the Indian Constitution, because no one can ignore any particular Community in India especially Jammu and Kashmir." The association requested Governor NN Vohra to take immediate action, so that Gujjar -Bakkerwal Community might not feel as a depressed Community, the association also gave ultimatum to the state authorities, if action is taken within days, they would organize a state level Protest. |
